Participants:

Open to players with FIDE rating 2200 and below.

System:

9 round Swiss system

The pairings program used in the tournament is Swiss-Manager based on ratings.

Time control:

90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 30 minutes till the end of the game with 30 seconds increment per move, starting from move one.

Prizes:

In case of a tie, the prizes will be distributed according to Tie Break proceedings. A player cannot be awarded more than one prize, and will be awarded the higher prize. In case the category prize is the same as the main prize, player receives the main prize.

Tie-Breaks:

Tie-breaks will be carried out according to the following order:

a) Cut Buchholz-1

b) Buchholz

c) Direct encounter

d) Most black

e) Greater number of victories

The default time for the tournament is 15 min from the start of the round.

Entry fees:

➢ All participants must pay 3000 AMD federation fee.

➢ Armenian players can use national ratings when paying entry fees.

➢ 10% off for players born between Dec 31, 2006 and Dec 31, 2008.

➢ 20% off for players born after Dec 31, 2008.

➢ The deadline for the registration is: Oct 10, 2021.

Prices per room:

$40 per person, per day, double room.

$50 per person, per day, single room.

Apartments for rent are also available at reasonable rates.
